A U.S. C-130 dropped more than 6,000 pounds of Jordanian food supplies which included dry goods into Northern Gaza.
YEMEN/GAZA - The US carried out an operation into Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen and destroyed an air defense system with two missiles "ready to launch", a ground control station, and one unmanned aerial system (drone) launched by Houthis from Yemen over the Red Sea.
The US also dropped humanitarian aid into Northern Gaza. A "U.S. C-130 dropped more than 6,000 pounds of Jordanian food supplies which included dry goods into Northern Gaza, an area of great need, allowing for civilian access to the critical aid. To date, the U.S. has dropped 742 tons of humanitarian assistance," CENTCOM reported.
Additionally, an anti-ballistic missile was launched from Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen toward the Gulf of Aden where a coalition ship was escorting Marshall Islands Flagged and UK-owned, Italian-operated cargo merchant vessel Hope Island.
U.S. Central Command reported that there were no injuries or damages reported by US, Coalition, or commercial vessels as a result of the attacks.
