US, Jordan Carry Out Humanitarian Airdrops Into Northern Gaza, CENTCOM Commander Visits Pakistan Regarding Counter-Terrorism Efforts
U.S. Air Force C-130 aircraft which dropped over 25,300 Meals Ready to Eat (MREs), and over 6,000 pounds of food from Jordanian supplies.
GAZA/PAKISTAN - The United States and Jordan carried out humanitarian aid airdrops into Northern Gaza on May 9th. From May 7th through May 9th the Commander of U.S. Central Command visited Pakistan where he engaged with Pakistani military leaders on counter-terrorism efforts.
The combined U.S. and Jordan humanitarian aid airdrops in northern Gaza on May 9th included three U.S. Air Force C-130 aircraft which dropped over 25,300 Meals Ready to Eat (MREs), and over 6,000 pounds of food from Jordanian supplies.
According to U.S. Central Command, "To date, the U.S. has dropped approximately 1,220 tons of humanitarian assistance".
