US, Jordan Airdrop Humanitarian Aid Into Northern Gaza
Nearly 1,041 tons of humanitarian assistance have been dropped into Gaza by the United States to date.
GAZA - On April 23rd, the United States and Jordan carried out a combined humanitarian assistance airdrop into Northern Gaza, using four C-130 aircraft to drop 30,016 Meals Ready to Eat (MREs), in addition to 6,000 pounds of food and supplies from Jordan.
According to U.S. Central command nearly 1,041 tons of humanitarian assistance have been dropped into Gaza by the United States to date.
U.S. Central Command reported, "During today's mission, one of the bundles landed in the shallow water near shore.
USCENTCOM does not assess civilian harm or damage to infrastructure at this time but continues to monitor the situation."
