On August 8th U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptors arrived in the U.S. Central Command area of responsibility as part of U.S. force posture changes in the region.
YEMEN - U.S. forces destroyed 2 Houthi anti-ship cruise missiles and 1 Houthi ground control station in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen, according to U.S. Central Command. Additionally, 1 Houthi unmanned surface vessel was destroyed in the Red Sea.
"These weapons presented a clear and imminent threat to U.S. and coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region."
