US Destroys 9 Houthi Drones In And Near Yemen, Expects To Reopen Gazan Pier This Week

YEMEN - U.S. forces successfully destroyed 8 Houthi unmanned aerial systems (UAS drones) in a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen, and 1 Houthi unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) over the Gulf of Aden.
U.S. Central Command said, "It was determined these systems presented an imminent threat to U.S., coalition forces, and merchant vessels in the region".
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) also added an update to its June 12th incident report of an attack incident that occurred 66 nautical miles southwest of Al Hudaydah, Yemen which resulted in the craft being abandoned.
In the latest incident update, the UKMTO said oil and debris were sighted in the last reported location where the vessel had been sunk.
Additionally, the Pentagon said the temporary humanitarian aid pier that was moved to Ashdod, Israel due to high seas should be anchored back to Gaza in the Mediterranean Sea this week so that it can again be used to transport humanitarian aid into Gaza.
The Pentagon released a statement that said, "The pier was anchored to the Gaza shore on May 16 and since then, due to weather, has experienced both damage and temporary shutdowns".
