US Destroys 1 UAS Launched By Houthis Over Red Sea
The UAS presented an imminent threat against U.S. and coalition forces, as well as merchant vessels in the region.
RED SEA - US forces engaged and destroyed one uncrewed (unmanned) aerial system (UAS) launched by the Iranian-backed Houthis over the Red Sea, according to U.S. Central Command on May 6th, 2024.
The released statement said that the UAS presented an imminent threat against U.S. and coalition forces, as well as merchant vessels in the region.
