U.S. Central Command Conducts Airstrikes Against Several ISIS Camps in Syria
The Pentagon has also expressed concern over North Korea's escalating support for Russia in its war against Ukraine.
SYRIA - U.S. forces carried out a series of strikes against several known ISIS camps located within Syria on October 28th which resulted in “up to 35 ISIS operatives killed”, according to U.S Central Command.
The statement by U.S. Central Command said, “The strikes targeted multiple ISIS locations in the Syrian desert, targeting multiple ISIS senior leaders. There are no indications of civilian casualties.
The airstrikes will disrupt the ability of ISIS to plan, organize, and conduct attacks against civilians, as well as U.S., allies, and partners throughout the region and beyond.”
