US Carries Out Additional Self-Defense Strikes Against Four Houthi Cruise Missiles, One Drone
CENTCOM command says the central region "faces its most volatile security situation in the past half century".
YEMEN - U.S. Central Command has reported carrying out self-defense strikes against four mobile Houthi anti-ship cruise missiles and one Houthi drone as the CENTCOM command says the central region "faces its most volatile security situation in the past half century".
Testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee Army Gen. Michael E. Kurilla, commander of CENTCOM said "This is not the same central region as last year".
Kurilla said that the situation in Gaza has created the conditions for malign actors to sow instability throughout the region and beyond.
Iran has seen the situation in Gaza as a once in a generation opportunity to reshape the Middle East using its proxies in Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Gaza, the West Bank and Yemen using its proxies, he said.
