The Italian warship Nave Duilio also intercepted and shot down a Houthi drone over the red sea as it was flying toward the vessel.
A statement by the Italian Ministry of Defense said, "These attacks are part of a hybrid war, which uses every possibility, not only military, to harm some countries and benefit others".
