Total Attacks On US Bases In Iraq And Syria Rises To 84

BAGHDAD - U.S. military bases in the Middle East have been attacked 9 times in just the last 24 hours, which brings the total of attacks on U.S. military bases in Iraq and Syria to 84.
14 Rockets Fired At US Embassy In Iraq
BAGHDAD - 14 rockets were fired at the U.S. Embassy located in the Green Zone in Baghdad, Iraq on Friday, according to both U.S. and Iraqi officials. The "Green Zone" was a 10-square-kilometer heavily fortified international zone in Central Baghdad that was taken by U.S. forces in April of 2003 at the time Baghdad was captured.
The latest attack was a "A multi-rocket attack [that] was launched at US and Coalition forces in the vicinity of Union III and the Baghdad embassy complex," a US official stated, adding that there were no reported damages or casualties as a result of the attack despite reporting by ABC news that rockets had hit embassy gates and caused material damages, but no casualties.
