Somalian Forces Kill 48 Al-Shabaab, ISIS Militants in Coordinated Bombing Operations

AFRICA - The National Intelligence and Security Agency (NISA) of Somalia, in collaboration with the National Security Forces, conducted a series of bombing operations on February 25, 2025, according to the Somalian military. These operations targeted Al-Shabaab, ISIS Militant leaders, and militia in the Middle Shabelle and Hiran regions.
Darul-Nimca area: Two separate bombings killed about 17 militants and destroyed their military vehicles.
Al-Kowthar area: Two bombings resulted in the deaths of 19 militants and the destruction of their vehicles.
Beeryabaal area: Shelling led to the deaths of 12 militants.
