• On April 10, 2025, SNA and local forces seized a significant weapons cache from Al-Shabaab in Hiiraan and cleared militants from Middle Shabelle.

• Meanwhile, NISA’s intelligence-led operations between March 29 and April 5 resulted in the arrest of 36 suspects and the elimination of 20 Al-Kowthar members, disrupting planned attacks in Shabelle and other regions.

These efforts reflect a multi-pronged strategy combining precision strikes, ground operations, and intelligence actions to degrade terrorist capabilities in Somalia’s complex security environment.
