SYRIA - The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) has reported that American forces intercepted and destroyed a missile that was launched by pro-Iranian militias at the Conoco base in northeastern Syria.

The observatory further reported three "strong" explosions 3 to 4 kilometers (around 2 miles) from the Conoco gas field base hosting American soldiers prompting a response in the form of artillery shelling from the "international coalition".
