The IDF went on to say, "As part of his role in the Hezbollah terrorist organization, Mekky was responsible for various acts of terrorism against the Israeli home front, and he previously served as the commander of Hezbollah's forces in the coastal region".
IDF: Elimination Of A Senior Hezbollah Field Commander:
On Tuesday, a Hezbollah anti-tank missile killed an Israeli civilian and wounded five soldiers in Adamit, Northern Israel according to the Israel Defense Forces, which reported that one soldier was moderately wounded and four others lightly injured.
The IDF statement said, “Fighter jets recently attacked military buildings of the terrorist organization Hezbollah in the areas of Aita al-Sha'ab and the village of Kila in southern Lebanon.
During the day, a number of anti-tank missiles were detected in the area of Adamit in the Western Galilee.
As a result, an IDF soldier was moderately injured and four other soldiers were slightly injured. The soldiers were evacuated for medical treatment in a hospital, their families were informed.”
