Recap: Missile Launch By Houthi Toward Gulf Of Aden, US Forces 4 Drones In Yemen
No injuries or damages were reported as a result of the launch.
YEMEN - On April 13th Iranian-backed Houthis launched one anti-ship ballistic missile (ASBM) toward the Gulf of Aden from a Houthi-controlled area of Yemen. No injuries or damages were reported as a result of the launch.
On April 14th U.S. forces destroyed 4 uncrewed aerial vehicles (UAV drones) in Houthi-controlled areas of Yemen in self-defense as the drones were determined to present an imminent threat to American, coalition, and merchant vessels in the region.
U.S. Central Command said, "These actions are taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters safer and more secure for U.S, coalition, and merchant vessels".
