PYONGYANG - North Korean leader Kim Jon Un oversaw a "performance test" of one-way attack (suicide drones), during which the drones of various types "precisely hit the targets after flying along different preset tactical routes in striking ranges", according to North Korean state media.
After expressing satisfaction with the tests, the North Korean leader underscored the need to build a "serial production system" in order to mass produce the drones full-scale as early as possible.
Kim Jong Un said, "The competition for using drones as the main means of military capabilities by introducing innovative technology is being accelerated in the world. It is easy to use them as a component of striking power in a new domain due to their ever-expanding range of use in military activities, low production cost and simple production lines".
