The launch comes after the United States and South Korea concluded their joint Freedom Shield live-fire exercises around the Korean Peninsula on Thursday.
SEOUL - North Korea has fired three short-range ballistic missiles into the Sea of Japan from the North Hwanghae Province, according to the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff (JCS).
