ALASKA - The North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) has reported that Russian military aircraft have been again intercepted within the Alaskan Air Defense Identification Zone (ADIZ), while a Russian Su-35 fighter jet engaged in an unsafe maneuver (shown in the video).
U.S. Air Force General, Commander of NORAD and Northern Command Gregory Guillot released a statement that said, “On Sept 23, 2024, NORAD aircraft flew a safe and disciplined intercept of Russian Military Aircraft in the Alaska ADIZ”.
He added, “The conduct of one Russian Su-35 was unsafe, unprofessional, and endangered all – not what you’d see in a professional air force."
