UNITED STATES - The North Carolina and Connecticut National Guard have responded to a situation that we've been following regarding a video of a Black Hawk helicopter hovering over a hurricane aid site and destroying supplies.

The Guard gave an explanation to the incident saying, "While attempting to land, rotor wash caused items to blow away from the local distribution set up by a group of civilians in the area. The crew immediately identified the situation, aborted the landing for safety reasons, and departed the area".
Note: The incident is currently under investigation, according to the National Guard. No reason for landing was given in their statement but we've been keeping an eye on it.
