YEMEN/ISRAEL - A missile was fired from Yemen toward Israel. The Israeli military says the missile was "likely successfully intercepted".
IDF: "Following the sirens that sounded a short while ago in several areas in Israel, after review, it has been determined that one missile was launched from Yemen.
Interception attempts were carried out, and the missile was likely successfully intercepted. Sirens were sounded in accordance with protocol."
"LIKELY successfully intercepted"?
That is a curious choice of words.
The alarms sounding and the attempted intercept would suggest the missile had the range to enter Israeli airspace.
