DOD: US Carries Out New Airstrikes Against Iranian Backed Armed Groups In Syria

SYRIA - Kurdish media initially reported that the United States has carried out multiple airstrikes against Iranian-backed groups in Deir ez-Zor, Syria, while the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported that strikes were "likely" carried out by the United States. Afterward, the US Department of Defense released a report regarding US strikes in Syria.
Kurdistan 24 reported strikes had been carried out by US Forces in Deir ez-Zor, Syria, while Fox News reporter Jennifer Griffin reported multiple "new" airstrikes against Iranian proxy groups in Eastern Syria, citing a US official. The SOHR reported "violent explosions" in the vicinity of Al-Bukamal City as a result of airstrikes by "warplanes of unidentified source".
