Israel Intercepts Missile, Drone From Yemen For The Third Day In A Row
Israeli Military: sirens regarding missile launches were activated due to the possibility of there being falling shrapnel from the missile interception.
ISRAEL/YEMEN - Sirens are sounding in central Israel as a missile is reported to have been launched from Yemen for the third day in a row toward Israel (the first was a drone on December 23rd, the second and third launch were missiles).
The Israeli military says the missile was intercepted before it reached Israeli territory and that sirens regarding missile launches were activated due to the possibility of there being falling shrapnel from the missile interception.
The Houthi-controlled Yemen Armed Forces said Wednesday morning that they will be releasing an "important statement" in the coming hours after launching the country's 5th missile at Israel within the last week.
