Iran, Hezbollah, Hamas Denounce Israeli Strike On Houthi In Yemen After Numerous Launches From Yemen Toward Israel
The Israeli military said, "The Houthi terrorist regime has repeatedly attacked the State of Israel and its citizens, including in UAV and surface-to-surface missile attacks on Israeli territory".
ISRAEL/YEMEN - Iran, and the Hezbollah and Hamas terrorist organizations have denounced Israel's airstrikes on Houthi targets in Yemen on Thursday, labeling them as a "violation of international peace and security." The condemnation comes despite recent statements by the Israeli military saying that multiple missiles and drones were launched by the Houthi and intercepted before entering Israeli airspace over the last week.
A statement by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, "A short while ago, following the approval of operational plans by the Chief of the General Staff, the Minister of Defense, and the Prime Minister, IAF fighter jets conducted intelligence-based strikes on military targets belonging to the Houthi terrorist regime on the western coast and inland Yemen."
It added, "The Houthi terrorist regime has repeatedly attacked the State of Israel and its citizens, including in UAV and surface-to-surface missile attacks on Israeli territory."
Iran’s foreign ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baghaei said that the strikes are a "clear violation of international peace and security”.
