ISRAEL/GAZA- The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) dropped leaflets in the southern city of Rafah in the Gaza Strip calling for non-combatants to evacuate the area ahead of an expected ground offensive.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered the country’s military to come up with a plan to evacuate the civilians and eliminate the remaining Hamas positions in a widespread military operation in southern Gaza.
The Israeli Prime Minister has stated that an assault on Rafah is “critical” to completing Israel’s objective of dismantling the Hamas terrorist organization in the region, according to Israeli media.
