IAEA Reports "Strong" Water Release From North Korean Light Water Reactor, North Calls Agency Paid Trumpeter For US
IAEA: Activities at Punggye-ri nuclear test site remains prepared for new nuclear test, activities at Yongbyon Nuclear Site also resuming.
IAEA - The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Director General Rafael Grossi has reported a "strong water outflow" from North Korea's light water reactor (LWR) cooling system, which it says is consistent with the commissioning of its light water reactor.
In early October, North Korea had called the nuclear agency a "paid trumpeter" for the United States. It said that claims about the North planning its 7th nuclear test are a "conspiracy between the U.S. and its followers".
