YEMEN - U.S. Central Command has reported that Iranian-backed Houthis from Houthi-controlled parts of Yemen fired two missiles toward Bab al-Mandeb toward the Greek-owned and Marshall Islands-flagged cargo vessel MV Star Iris transiting the Red Sea and carrying corn from Brazil.

YEMEN - An incident has occurred 40 nautical miles south of Al Mukha, Yemen where a vessel reported being attacked by two missiles. The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations released multiple statements about the incident stating that the crew has reported they are safe, and the vessel has proceeded to the next port of call.
The MV Star Iris's destination is Bandar Iman Khomeini, Iran, according to the statement which says that the vessel is currently seaworthy and reported minor damage and no injuries to the ship's crew.
