Hamas Accepts Ceasefire Agreement, No Indication Israel Has Accepted The Terms Agreed Upon
There has not yet been any word from Israel about the deal, nor any indications that the terms are in any way acceptable to Jerusalem.
ISRAEL/GAZA - The Hamas terrorist organization has accepted a ceasefire proposal arranged by both Qatari and Egyptian mediators to end the 7 month-long war between the Israel and Hamas.
A statement by the organization's leader Ismail Haniyeh said that he has notified the prime minister of Qatar, as well as the head of the Egyptian intelligence agency of the intention to accept the proposal.
There has not yet been any word from Israel about the deal, nor any indications that the terms are in any way acceptable to Jerusalem. Furthermore, the deal that the Hamas accepted was not a deal that was accepted by Israel.
