Gunmen Open Fire At Russia's Crocus City Hall Complex In Moscow
On March 7th, the US Embassy put out an alert warning Americans in to avoid large gatherings, including concern halls due to extremists "imminent plans to target large gatherings in Moscow".
MOSCOW - At least two to three masked gunman began firing automatic rifles and using hand grenades at the Crocus City Hall complex in Russia's capital, according to Russian state-run media.
As of yet unverified videos circulating on social media show gunshots ringing out at the concert hall after someone shouted "close the door" and then people screaming.
The attack occurred just before the concert started for the “Picnic” rock band.
A witness that was at the scene told Russian state news agency RIA Novosti “We were sitting in the center of the hall. The concert began, just a couple of minutes passed, one or two grenades exploded in the middle, gray smoke started pouring out. Panic began".
