Estonia "Prepared" To Close Its Borders With Russia In Solidarity With Finland
Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Margus Tsahkna claimed that the influx of illegal immigrants coming through Finland's eastern border is a "hybrid attack conducted by Russia".
ESTONIA - On Wednesday, Estonia said that it's prepared to join Finland in closing its borders with Russia, citing "hybrid attacks" by Russia.
As of November 30th, 2023, the Finnish government has reported that they are closing the entire eastern border that the country shares with Russia due to the nearly 1,000 illegal immigrants that have come into the country through its eastern border with Russia. Finland shares a 1,340-mile-long border with Russia.
