Eight Hostages Released From Hamas Captivity 482 Days After Being Taken Captive
The released hostages were accompanied by IDF and ISA forces back to Israeli territory where they will be undergoing a medical assessment, according to the Israeli military.
JERUSALEM - After 482 days in captivity, eight hostages that were being held by Hamas, including two Israeli citizens and five foreign nationals were transferred to the Red Cross and on their way toward IDF and ISA forces in Gaza. Initially, Agam Berger was released, and shortly after it was announced that seven others were released.
The released hostages were accompanied by the forces back to Israeli territory where they will be undergoing a medical assessment, according to the Israeli military.
Israeli military: "The two returning Israeli hostages, Arbel Yehud and Gad Moshe Mozes, will be reunited with their families there, and the five foreign nationals - Thenna Pongsak, Sathian Suwannakhan, Sriaoun Watchara, Seathao Bannawat, Rumnao Surasak - will be met there by Thai government officials."
