GAZA - Construction of the Joint Logistics Over-The-Shore floating pier in the Mediterranean Sea near Gaza was temporarily paused yesterday due to forecasted high winds and sea swells.
The statement released by U.S. Central Command said, "Forecasted high winds and high sea swells caused unsafe conditions for Soldiers working on the surface of the partially constructed pier".
