EUROPE - Belarus on high alert, says it destroyed “about a dozen” targets from Ukraine over Belarusian territory and has put its air defenses on high alert, according to the country's President Alexander Lukashenko.
Lukashenko said, "The Belarusian Air Force and Air Defense Forces were put on high alert yesterday [9 August] at 18:10. We call it readiness condition 1".
