Attack Incident Reported Near Aden, Yemen. CENTCOM Commander Visits Israel
An attack incident has been reported 83 nautical miles southeast of Aden, Yemen. US Central Command has also addressed the conclusion of the JLOTS Capability in Gaza.
MIDDLE EAST - The Commander of U.S. Central Command Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla visited Israel from July 14th through July 17th, 2024, during which he met with officials and members of the Israeli military and discussed security challenges Israel is facing in both the southern, and northern part of the country, along with other [more broad] security concerns.
An attack incident has also been reported 83 nautical miles southeast of Aden, Yemen where multiple unknown projectiles hit a vessel. The crew of the attacked vessel is reported to be safe and authorities are investigating the incident.
Lastly, U.S. Central Command has addressed the conclusion of operations for the USAID-led mission to deliver humanitarian aid to Gaza from the sea using the Joint Logistics Over the Shore (JLOTS) capability.
