Another X-Class Solar Flare Erupts From Sun Replacing December's Record As Largest Since 2017
Today's solar flare has now replaced December's record as the strongest that has occurred since 2017 and came from the same region as the previous flare.
SUN - An X-class solar flare erupted from the sun at 4:55 p.m. EST that measured X5.0, which beats the X2.8 solar flare that erupted from the sun in Mid-December that temporarily caused radio interference on the sunlight part of the globe.
